Sunflowers are my favorite flower and Joshua and I love to plant a “field” of them each year. This field is really just a line of sunflowers along the backwall of our house but to us that is sufficient to bring smiles to our faces each and every time we walk out into our backyard.

Last night we headed up to the garage roof top of a casino five minutes from our house to watch the city’s fireworks. The view is amazing. Turn in any direction of a 360 degree circle and you get a beautiful view of the city lights, mountains and lots of fireworks!
