Thanks for all your comments. I really enjoyed my visit here–Barb’s and Josh’s questions were sharp and gave me a lot to think about as I was coming up with answers. One of the exciting things about homeschooling, I think, is the flexibility teachers and learners have when it comes to choosing the best learning material and making the most of it. I am so delighted that Barb chose my books to be part of her teaching experience, and that Josh has found them interesting enough to be a base for learning and exploration. Way to go, guys!

Good to see you here. I am so glad someone else is as excited as I am about the use of Susan’s books in homeschooling or the classroom. She shared a tremendous amount of great ideas to get people started in the right direction. You are so right in that this is just the thing to spark interests. I myself am interested in learning more about the gypsies since reading Susan’s link in the post. Thanks too for forwarding the link and getting the word out to others :)

I was so excited about this sizzling post and all it’s information, that I forwarded the link to everyone in my address book that would be interested in it – from the standpoint of creative teaching and homeschooling! The BP books (and the Robin Paige series for that matter) are so full of interesting historic fact, I have to think any student’s interest would be ignited. It’s this kind of creative teaching that lights up young minds.
