We will miss Him

Our beloved family cat, Tabby, passed away this past Thursday night.
Needless to say we have a home of heavy hearts right now. We will miss him so much as he has been a member of our family for over 15 years. The night he died we sat with him and talked with him as the tears flowed. After he had taken his last breath we shared “Tabby stories” as stories are our family’s link to our loved ones, pets and humans alike, those with us here in this world and those we hold in our hearts and memories.

Oh my heart goes out to you and your family. I know from experience how very hard it is to lose a dearly loved family companion… We still tell “Rascal stories” from time to time, recollecting the ferret that charmed us all, and stunned us with the hole she left when we lost her. My daughter ended up making a scrapbook in her honor, and still sleeps with her (the blanket that was hers, all rolled up, which she calls Rascal)… and insists that she is in pet heaven, naturally.
