Welcome Summer 2007
Jun 21st, 2007 by lvbirders
Here in the desert of Las Vegas it has been summer for awhile now. Our temps have been between 103-109 lately with an intense sunshine….nothing new though…. that’s a typical June for us, at least since we moved here 6 years ago.
As the calendar officially welcomes Summer today I thought I would share a little of our summer:

Southern Sweet Tea Syrup for that ever present glass of ice tea.

Progress on the puzzle has been a little slow lately.

My newest dishcloth that I am knitting….don’t those colors just scream summer. For some reason as I knit I keep craving a Creamsicle :)

Reading stacks… which keep getting higher and higher and added onto with books that won’t fit on the stack such as this one

Our first sunflower opens…

Our male Anna’s Hummingbird makes his daily visit…

All is good this season …at least as the long as the AC stays working ;)

You seem so organized!
I love the bird pic!
What a gorgeous sunflower!
Hi Steph, sunflowers are my favorite flowers and we have them lining the wall of our house in our backyard. Seeing them each day makes me smile, I think the birds smile when they see them too lol
Jennifer, welcome! Thanks for visiting. Glad you enjoyed the hummingbird. My husband got a new digital camera for Father’s day which I am enjoying as much as he is I think. As to being organized..some days are better than others lol
I agree with the other Jennifer - great hummingbird photo!
