A New Record of Our Days

It’s been a very long time since I have written here. This past winter was a very hard time in the season of our lives and so it was necessary for me to step away.
I can finally see breaks in the dawn of this “dark night of my soul”… just glimpses still but that is enough for me to be able to move on toward the light of day.
My heart feels lighter and in need of looking at things in a new way hence the new blog name and a new template.
The picture at the top of this post is of a Wilson’s Warbler. Josh and I were blessed today to have one stop on his spring journey and visit with us in our backyard. Such beautiful and brilliant yellow that can only make a person smile in awe. Be sure to check out Mr. LaTourrette’s website as he has many equally stunning photos of birds.
