Goodness…if it’s not one thing, it’s another

School has been more “unstructured” lately than either Josh or I feel comfortable with. After things settling down with my own bout with illness, yesterday, Josh’s older brother had 2 seizures within 4 hours of each other. This, after being free from them for over a year. Such a hard thing for a young man who has recently been making strides in becoming independent and on his own. Now, once again, he will have to be dependent on others for driving etc. On top of that, he has an interview for acceptance into the apprenticeship program with his union in just an hour or so. He is still groggy from the seizures and meds. This mom is one bundles of nerves and worry this morning and one who is feeling very guilty about the lack of structure going on in our house. Any prayers would be so appreciated.

Oh, I am so sorry to hear this! You all will be in our prayers!
I know all too well the guilt over lack of structure lately, too. Let’s face it, life happens. But Josh is such a sponge for knowledge, I am sure you have nothing to worry about.
I will be praying! (((Hugs)))
I just found your blog through a comment you made on another (Lapaz). I wanted to let you know that I think your blog is awesome. I’ve already found some great things I would like to try in our home (ie: It Happened This Month). I also prayed for your son and his interview.
Blessings,
Beth
Theresa, thanks for the prayers and I saw on your blog your little interruptions (he is just too cute lol). I don’t know how ya’ll do it with little ones running around.
Steph, thanks for the prayers again. Hope your “school” program is working to YOUR advantage. I have a daughter who is a junior in public schools and it is definitely a “system” with a tremendous amount of angst/work/ etc attached to it. Maybe you can remind your daughter about that old saying, “Be careful what you wish for becuase you just may get it!”
Beth, Glad you found your way here and found something useful. I am always humbled by the fact that complete strangers are praying for me and my family. Thank you so much. I enjoyed browsing your own blog. My son, Josh is an avid birder and we loved your pic of the nest. We are so jealous of your snow. We live in the desert (southwest) and next week we are supposed to reach high’s in the mid 70s! We studied Peter Bruegel last term and loved him!

I am so sorry to hear this! I hope everyone is recovering well, and you are able to keep yourself rested (hard for a mom, I know) Thinking of you all!
