Today’s Science Fun
Nov 21st, 2006 by lvbirders
This morning I came across this quiz on MSNBC. We have been somewhat lacking in our science lately, especially things of current events, as showed when both of us scored just 4 right out of ten.
After Josh had taken the quiz, I had him choose one question he had gotten an incorrect answer on and then click the link to read the full story. Finally he completed a written documentation page on what he had read for his interactive notebook. He had a great time with all of it and we finally got some science into our day.

Thanks for sharing this!
Sadly I only got 3 correct answers. This is a wonderful reminder that we as well as our children should be aware of current events. I rarely read or watch the news. Sometimes I listen to NPR but there always seems to be a story about Iraq. Thank you for posting this. Although my child is much to young to consider current events I will remember this in the future.
Steph, Hope the link is helpful. Thanks so much for stopping by so often at the blog and commenting. :)
Nina,
Glad to see you here and thank you so much for taking the time to comment. I was just teasing my son who is 12 that I sometimes miss those “younger” years. Have fun and enjoy your precious daughter. Those years really do go by so quickly.
