Laughter and giggling and a game…
Jul 28th, 2006 by lvbirders

Right now my son has a friend over. They are playing floor hockey while playing a game that my husband, son and I came up with while camping in Zion National Park. They are having a great time giggling and guessing.
Want to play along? Here are the rules.
- everyone each takes a turn, one at a time
- one player thinks of a city anywhere in the world without telling the other players what it is.
- the others narrow it down by guessing the continent, then the country, and so on till they have finally guessed the city or have to give up.
- the next person thinks of a city and the others try to guess it and so on.
- my son LOVES playing this game with me because he stumps me more than I do him.
Simple, no expense, and a ton of fun!

Oh, we play the same game(!), only with historical people rather than places. Very entertaining, especially on long car trips. Our rule is that they must be questions that can be answered with yes or no. The first question is always “Is it a dead, white, European guy?” because if not, that seems to narrow the field considerably!LOL!
Oh Theresa that is so funnny! Great idea too. We’ll have to try your historical version.
We play this game with historical figures and literary characters. We also play it with animals (Are you a mammal? Do you walk on four legs? Do you live in the wold around here?)
momofthreefeistykids,
Great minds think alike it seems :) I love the literary figures idea. We are going to have to try this one!
