Nature Forum created

One of our favorite naturalists, Jim Conrad, has ,with help, created a new forum for discussion of all things Nature. Jim’s website is a plethoria of nature wisdom, stories etc. Something for everyone and now we can share with each other on his new forum. Also, while you’re at his site, don’t forget to sign up for his free email newsletter. We have been following Jim now for a few years and love getting this newsletter. It is filled with Jim’s wisdom and observances of nature.

What a terrific site! :-)
Hi Barb,
I am a bird/nature lover wannabe. I do love birds, animals, plants etc. and want to be more environmentally conscientious than I am. I haven’t really done anything systematic though. Right now they are getting ready to put up a housing development behind our house in what used to be a fruit orchard and woods. However, we still have a patch of woods and a stream in our backyard. I am in mourning for all the animals that are about to loose their homes. I want to transform my backyard into a wildlife habitat but I don’t really know what I’m doing. Do you think I should join the forum? It looks wonderful, but I feel very beginnerish! I’ll probably just mostly lurk.

I wanted to let you know a couple of things…
1. I love your blog here and I come to visit even if I don’t comment.
2. I really appreciate you as a reading partner! Your insights and comments help me so much, please keep it up!
3. Thank you for your contributions to the classical homeschooling forum as well.
Since you’ve made me blush recently, I thought I should return the love…
